Cut out the pictures and paste on the numbers worksheet to sequence and re-tell ‘Don’t Push the Button!’ by Bill Cotter. The order is as follows: 1 – Carrots on a plate, 2 – Hole covered by a rug, 3 – Fully lit dance floor, 4 – Lady Bunny singing, 5 – EB has been hiding treats since 1682, 6 – A flying fish shooter, 7 – Going through a keyhole, 8 – Leaving tasty treats, 9 – Bunny Tumbler 2.0.
Activity 3: Class Book

Print out and copy the class book activity sheets. Hand out the sheets to the children and ask them to draw a picture of what they would do to catch the Easter Bunny. If they can’t write yet, the teacher can help them by tracing the words.
Activity 4: Story Map Flip Book

Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children cut out the different parts, then assemble. After gluing the pieces together, the children draw the characters (Easter Bunny, children), the setting (Different houses and backyards), the problem (EB is too fast for the children) and the solution (EB leaves lots of treats behind). They then draw or write a sentence about their favorite part.
