The Kissing Hand Number Puzzles
What you need:
- Scissors
- Activity Sheets
How to use this resource:
Read the story to the children. When the story is done, talk about it.
When the discussion is over, hand the puzzle pieces out. Place number 1 in the middle and ask the child with number 2 to place it next to yours. Continue until all the puzzles are completed.
These number puzzles can also be used as a center activity.
The Kissing Hand Alphabet Strips
What you need:
- Colored picture and black alphabet strips printed out and laminated
- Black and white picture and trace alphabet strips printed out and copied (one per child)
- Laminator & Laminating Sheets
- Glue
- Coloring pencils
- Scissors
How to use this resource:
Children trace the letters on the alphabet strips then cut out and assemble. The teacher will have to help them to cut 2 strips on the picture of the raccoon and to put the alphabet strips into these.
The Kissing Hand Counting Kisses Mini-Book
How to use this resource:
Copy the mini-books and assemble (one per child). The children trace the numbers and then draw the same amount of hearts on each page (they can alternatively use heart stamps or heart stickers if you have those lying around 🙂
