Outer Space is always a favorite topic, children love dreaming of visiting the moon. The Where is the Astronaut? Circle Time Activity will develop your young learners’ planets recognition, speaking and visual discrimination skills.

Activity 2: Where is the Diver?
What you need:
- The pictures of the planets, meteorite, comet, moon and the astronaut cut out and laminated
- A flat area
How to complete the activity:
Cut out the pictures and laminate. During Circle Time put all the planets face up in the middle of the circle.
Ask the children to turn around or close their eyes. Hide the astronaut under a picture of a planet or rocket. Children take turns guessing under which planet the astronaut is. The child gets to keep the picture of the planet if guessed correctly. Continue until all pictures are gone.
