- Scissors
- Glue
How to use this resource:
Read the story, or watch the read-aloud on YouTube here. Ask the children if they felt nervous about coming to school too? What made Penelope Rex nervous about school? What was the problem and how did she find a solution.
When everyone had a turn to speak, hand out the activity sheets. Ask the children to color and then cut all the pictures out and then to paste them in order on the sequencing sheet. The children can now use the sequencing sheet to re-tell the story to their friends.
