How to Catch a Leprechaun Activities
What you’ll need:

Activity 1: Leprechaun Shapes Graphing
Print out and copy activity sheets. Students find all the shapes, then color the pictograph and write the number of each shape.
Activity 2: How to Catch a Leprechaun Sequencing

Print out and copy the activity sheets. After reading ‘How to Catch a Leprechaun’, children cut out the pictures and paste them in the correct order. The order is as follows:

Print out and copy the activity sheets. Ask the children to think of ways to make traps to catch a Leprechaun. Hand out the ‘I would
…..’ activity sheets. Children draw a picture of how they plan to catch the Leprechaun. If they can’t write yet, the teacher can write it for them. Assemble into a class book, then read it out loud during meeting time
Activity 4: My Lucky Rainbow
Print out and copy the activity sheets on A4 paper. Students color the rainbow, then write about things that make them feel lucky
Activity 5: Counting Coins!
Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children cut out the
pictures of the coins and paste them in the correct order from 1 – 20.
Activity 6: Guided Writing
