What you will need:

  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Strips of colored paper (4 inches in width and about 20 inches in length)

How to use this resource:

Children color the pictures, cut it out and paste them in the correct order. When they are done, pair the kids up and ask them to re-tell the story to their partner while pointing to the strips.

Brown Bear Color Race

Brown Bear color race

An activity that can be done in pairs, small groups or as a whole class.

What YOU WILL need:

  • Coloring pencils, markers or crayons
  • The color words cut out.

How to use this resource:

Place all the color words face down on a table. Ask volunteers to turn over one card at a time. Everyone colors the animal that is that color in the story on their worksheets. Continue until all the animals have been colored.
