How to use this resource:

After reading the story, ask the children to name all the animals in the story as well as their colors. Hand out the worksheets. Now ask the children to color all the animals on it the same color as those of the animals in the book. When they are done, children count the amount of animals in each row and color the corresponding number the same color.

How to use this resource:

Ask children to color all the animals on the worksheet the same color as the animals in the story. Now ask them to count each animal and record the amount in the blocks at the bottom of the worksheet. Talk about which animals were the most or the least when they are all done.
