What you’ll need:

- Coloring Pencils/ markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Laminator and laminating sheets
Activity 1: Life Cycle of a Strawberry Accordion Book
Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children color the pictures of the life cycle of a strawberry then cut around the outside of the rectangle. Fold into an accordion. Color and cut out the two halves of the strawberry. Glue the accordion book to the two halves of the strawberry.
Activity 2: Sequencing
How to use this resource:
Print and copy the activity sheets. Children cut out the pictures and paste them onto the sequencing sheet in the correct order.
Activity 3: Class Book
How to use this resource:
Print out and copy the class book activity sheets. Hand out the sheets to the children and ask them to take it home and to ask their parents to help them to disguise their strawberries. Send the letter to the parent’s home with them. Assemble as a class book when everyone has returned their disguised strawberries and read.
Activity 4: Math Centers
How to use this resource:
Print out laminate the Math centers. During center time the children sequence the number cards, then match the number puzzles.
Activity 5: Adjectivies
How to use this resource:
Print out and copy the activity sheets. Talk about the different emotions Mouse goes through in the story (excited, happy, surprised, brave, scared). Ask the children to think of words to describe the physical appearance of Mouse and Bear. Hand out the activity sheets and ask children to complete it.
