Farm Animal Writing Center

•This center activity includes a ten page emergent reader that focuses on color words as well as farm animal words. Simply print double-sided and put together.

• Ten animal word cards with pictures. Cut out and laminate and set up in the writing center where it is easy for the children to see.

• Ten color word cards. Again, simply laminate and set up in the writing center.

• During center time the children find the animal in their emergent reader on the animal word cards and copy the word in the space provided. They then get to choose whichever color they want to color the animal, copy the color word into the space provided and color the animal.
