One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Activities
What you’ll need:
- One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Printable
- Coloring Pencils/ markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Laminator and laminating sheets
- Goldfish Crackers
Activity 1: Addition Center
Print out and laminate the colored activity sheets. Cut out the fish. During center time, children throw a dice, then put that number of fish on the fishbowl. They throw the dice again, and place that number of fish on the bowl. They then record the addition sum in the spaces provided.
Activity 2: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Sequencing
How to use this resource:
Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children cut out and then paste the pictures in the correct order. This is as follows: 1 – One Fish, 2 – Two Fish, 3 – Red Fish, 4 – Blue Fish, 5 – Black Fish, 6 – Blue Fish, 7 – Old Fish, 8 – New Fish, 9 – Fish with Star, 10 – Fish with Car, 11 – Sad Fish, 12 – Glad Fish, 13 – Bad Fish, 14 – Thin Fish. 15 – Fat Fish
Activity 3: Color by Number
Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children color the picture according to the numbers.
Activity 4: Goldfish Counting
Print out, copy and laminate the activity sheets. During center time, children use Goldfish Crackers to put the same number of fish on the pictures of the fishbowls.
Activity 5: Writing Activity
Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children draw their own fish, or decorate the pictures of the fish, then describe their fish using adjectives.
