Activity 1: Sequencing
How to use this resource:
Print out and copy the activity sheets. Cut out the pictures of the animals and paste them in the correct order (1 – tiger, 2 – lion, 3 – hippo, 4 – elephant, 5 – monkey, 6 – bush baby).
Activity 2: Mom & Baby Animals Match
How to use this resource:
Print out and laminate the photos of the animals. During morning meeting, match the animals to their babies. Print out and copy the activity sheets. Match the baby animals to the mom animals by connecting the dots. Trace the words, then color.
Activity 3: Roleplay Masks
How to use this resource:
Color and cut out the masks. The teacher can help the children with the eyes. Stick a straw on the back of each mask with tape. Children use the masks to re-tell the story.
