Activity 1: Categorizing
Cut out the pictures and paste under the correct categories. These are as follows: Nature (tree, night, rain), Animals (mouse, fox, goat), Transport (car, train, boat), Objects (house, box)
Activity 2: Green Eggs & Ham Sequencing
How to use this resource:
Print and copy the activity sheets. Children cut out the pictures and paste them onto the sequencing sheet in the correct order.
Activity 3: Class Book
How to use this resource:
Print out and copy the class book activity sheets. Hand out the sheets to the children and ask them to draw a picture of what they like to eat and then to write the words. If they can’t write yet, the teacher can help them by tracing the words.
Activity 4: Rhyming Puzzles Writing Center
How to use this resource:
There are 4 printable sheets in this Writing Center. Simply print and laminate for re-use. Children will match the puzzles of the animals and their rhyming partners. With each puzzle they complete, they find the animal on the recording sheet and write its rhyming partner next to it. This is a great hands-on activity for kids to learn all about rhyming while also practicing their writing skills.

How to use this resource:
Print and copy the activity sheets. Children complete the cut-and-paste worksheets and color the ‘Color by Word Family’ activity sheets. There are 17 cut-and-paste activity sheets and 17 Color-by-Word Family ones.
