- Scissors
- Glue

Activities 1 & 2: Comparing Sizes & Sorting
How to use this resource:
Fruit & Veggies Sorting: Print and laminate the headings and the fruit and veggies cards. During Circle Time, hand out the cards to the children. Stick the headings on the board or wall. Children come forward and stick each card under the correct heading
Comparing Sizes: Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children go for a walk outside, find rocks, stones, pebbles and sand and place these in the correct spaces on the activity sheets. Talk about the difference is sizes.
Activity 2: Rainy Days Class Book
How to use this resource:
Read the page in the book where everyone’s day rained out. Ask the children what they do on rainy days. Hand out the pages of the class book and ask children to draw a picture of what they do on rainy days. Teacher writes down what they drew.
Activity 3: Cover/ Color Dice Game
How to use this resource:
Cut out the dice cards, senses counters and picture mats and laminate. This activity can be played individually, in pairs or in groups. Children throw the dice, check on the dice card which number corresponds with which sense, and cover a picture that uses that sense with a counter or color it on the coloring sheet.
