The Fruits & Veggies Themed Activities were perfect for this time of year, Spring Time! The children loved learning about plant parts we eat, making a food journal, observing plants growing, pretending to visit a fruits & veggies shop and drawing and painting vegetables. The Fruits & Veggies Themed Dramatic Play Set is great for developing counting, speaking and fine-motor skills.

What you need:
- Labels and shopping cards printed out and laminated
- Wooden blocks
- Plastic money
- Plastic Fruits & Veggies
- Sticky tape
How to complete the activity:
Print out and laminate the labels and shopping cards. In my class I asked the children to build their own vegetable store shelves using the wooden blocks. They then separated the plastic fruits & vegetables and labelled the shelves. The children then each got a shopping card and bought all the fruits & vegetables that were on the cards.
