What you’ll need:

Activity 1: Baby and Mother Animals Matching
Print out, cut and laminate the cards. During Morning Meeting Time, use the cards as a memory game. Place all the cards face down on a table. Each child gets a turn to turn the cards over. If the cards match, they get to keep it, if not, they place them back face down.

Print out and copy the class book activity sheets. Hand out the sheets to the children and ask them to draw a picture of themselves and their moms, then to write something about what they like to do together.

Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children cut the pictures out, stick skewer sticks or paper straws on the back, then use as stick puppets to re-tell the story.

Print out and copy the activity sheets. Children complete the activity. Characters: Baby and Mommy bird, kitten, dog, cow, hen, Snort. Beginning: The baby bird wants to find his mom.
